Thelma “Ruth” Johnston, 67 of Scottsbluff, passed away on May 24, 2017 at Scottsbluff Care and Rehabilitation surrounded by her family. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 27, at Prairie Vista Unitarian Universalist Church in Scottsbluff with Church President R. Brian McFarland officiating. Ruth was born on December 20, 1949 to Oscar “Jay” and Beulah “Bootsie” (Carroll) Ault at Martinez, California.
Ruth is survived by her three daughters, Laura Marques, Stephanie McFarland, and Jennifer Grubb; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Chuck and Andrew; two sisters, Nancy and Dallas; and Uncle Delano.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jay and Bootsie.
