

Thomas S. Clark, 67, of Gering, died Thursday, November 8, 2007, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. His memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2007, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Jake Roberts officiating. Cremation was at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory and inurnment will be in Silver City, Iowa. A memorial has been established in care of the family. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Tom was born April 8, 1940, at Silver City, Iowa to John and Mercedes (Merk) Clark on a farm and he developed a love for John Deer tractors. He owned his own business for most of his adult life. In 1977, he began working for the Union Pacific Railroad and was a dedicated employee until he became disabled in 1994. He loved to help everyone, sit in his wheelchair and watch people. We will all miss his wave and beautiful smile and his love. Survivors include his wife, Vickie Clark, married June 26, 1973; son, Kevin Clark; daughters, Kelly (Al) Horgdal, Kathy (Myron) Carr and Karen (Brian) Stirek; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Lyle (Mary Claire) Clark; sister, Judy (Robert) Jansen; mother-in-law, Delores (Leonard) Smalley; stepmother-in-law, Iona Gregory; brothers-in-law, Bill (Elsie) Gregory, Dennis (Sharon) Gregory and Gordon Gregory; sisters-in-law, Barbara Griesman and Shirley Gregory; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a baby sister; grandparents; and brothers-in-law, Steve Gregory and Timothy Gregory.
