Walter Heilbrun

Walter Heilbrun, 74, of Gering, died Monday, July 10, 2006 at his home in Gering, surrounded by his family. Memorial services will be Saturday, July 15, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Nuss Warren officiating. Cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. Walter Heilbrun was born August 19, 1931, in Mitchell the son of Henry and Amalie (Dahlinger) Heilbrun. He attended school at Hill View, District 49. He was a 4-H leader and life long farmer. Walter and his wife Marian Keller were married May 8, 1949, in Torrington, Wyoming. He is survived by his wife, Marian, sons Walter Jr. (Millie) of Gering, Gary (Kris) of Anselmo, Nebraska, Dennis of Torrington, Wyoming, Tom (Ranae) of Greeley, Colorado, Alan (Linda) of Gering, daughter Connie (Greg) Blome of Katy, Texas/Angola, Africa, brothers Elmer (Caroline) of Lodi California, Harvey (Mary) of Sidney, sister Irene (Al) Kukas of Scottsbluff, twenty grand children and twenty-one great grand children. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Harold and Henry Jr., and sisters Martha Valetski, Mary Meyer, and Esther Schaaf.
