Yolanda Armstrong

Yolanda Armstrong, 58, of Scottsbluff, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Gering with Father Don Buhrman officiating. Cremation will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. A rosary will be 7:00 P.M., Monday, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. Friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M., on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to Dana Salas, 138 Lee Ann Lane, Scottsbluff, Nebraska 6936l Yolanda was born August 29, 1948, at Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Cosme and Guadalupe Alvarez. She married Richard Armstrong August 30, 1997. She enjoyed and lived life to the fullest with her husband Rick, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Yolanda liked a good football game, spending time with good friends, and her dog Diamond. Survivors include her husband, Rick Armstrong; daughters, Guadalupe “Lupe” Pettway of San Angelo, Texas and Dana Salas of Scottsbluff; son, Lee Salas and fiancée Renee Gonzales of Scottsbluff; siblings, Cosme Alvarez Jr., Alvaro Alvarez, Longina Rodriguez, Oliva Valladres and Gloria Sabela; grandchildren, Richard, David, Alishia Ray, Jose, Athena, Jessica, Steven, Stephanie, Gabriel, Alissa, Lee Jr., Alyssa; and great-grandchildren, Julian, Jaslen, Juels, Antonio, Azariah and Jaco. Preceding her in death were her parents.
