I will always remeber Great Grandpa Mike as a sports fanatic. I will also always remeber him as a very funny, kind man. I am so happy that I was able to introduce him to my daughter Kali. We will miss you!

There are two things I know about this man:
First, during football season there was always a battle between Mike and the game. I can still hear him yelling at the TV, “rackem-smackem-get him”. He seemingly always won.
Second, when it came to his sweetheart, Rita, he stood by her no matter what and thus, in true love there is no departure.

I did not know Mr. Bobis well but I can tell he meant a lot to his family by the words that were written.

The Americal Division was an exceptional fighting unit in the South Pacific. If Mr. Bobis was assigned to the 164th Infantry, we'd be pleased to list his name on The Last Roll Call in our newsletter. Our sympathies on the loss of your fine WWII soldier.

Michael was a sincere man, whose life was enriched by his wife and children, and his love enriched them too. When I think about being a husband and father, and friend to my family, I want to be like Michael.

Mike, although we never met I have heard a lot about you from your daughter, Celeste. She is my dearest friend and a sister in my heart.
She spoke of your 71 year marriage to Rita. You both were blessed with a very long union. I know you will watch over your loving wife and the rest of your family. They will feel your presence and it will bring them peace. May God Bless You!

I have not seen your Dad since you lived in Chicago but he, and his family, have had a wonderful life in Phoenix. That is certainly something to be treasured. My deepest sympathy to my friend Cindy and all members of her family. May Mike rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mike Bobis (I was visiting his daughter Celeste) in February 2012, and loved his sense of humor! He was 92 years young, and he obviously loved life. May God bless and comfort all of your family.

My Father-in law. I will miss you. All the treasured memories of the good times we had, the card games, golfing together, nights out at all those restruants, and just being together with family. You and Rita treated me like your son. A peace of me will always be with you.

Dad, I remember all our Father-Daughter dances at Mercy High School.. You looked so handsome and you were such a good dancer. My girlfriends were so envious that I had such a handsome Father. Remember all our walks up to the bowling alley. You, me and Mickey. In the snow because you didn't want to take the bus.. Our weekly Sunday bowling experience. I know you are enjoying a card game right about now with Grandpa Tony, Aunt Irene, Uncle Al and Uncle Joe. Ma is doing okay. We are all here for her. I will miss you and love you forever... Cindy, your number one daughter..

My dear Grandpa Mike... I will miss you so very much! My heart is so heavy right now.. Grandma is being well taken care of. I will always cherish our Summers together. How as a small girl you would bounce me on your knee and say "No button's on the coat, no button's on the coat". I never knew what that meant but I guess it doesn't matter... I will miss you very, very much.. Say hello to everyone for me, especially Grandma Lil... Until we meet again. Love always, your Kell Bell...

My dear Grandpa Mike... I will miss you so very much. I will always remember our Summers together when Tracy and I came to stay with you and Grandma. Your crazy jokes that brought you to tears beacuse you would laugh so hard! Our road trip to Disneyland... How as a small girl you would bounce me on your knee and call me Kell Bell and say, "No button's on the coat, no button's on the coat!" I never knew what no button's on the coat meant! It doesn't matter because it was special to me. I love you truely... I will see you once again someday. Please watch over Grandma during this time. Say hi to everybody especially Grandma Lil... Love always, YOUR KELL BELL!!! Kelly Leigh Boyd

Even though I never met you or your wife personally, I feel like I know you....Your wonderful daughter, Rita, has shared the type of person you are as well as your beloved wife...It seems that you were both so much like my parents who are the same age, and married for so long...We always wished you all could have met someday...Well, I believe you "have" met my dad, who went to be with the Lord recently....You are probably eating a lot and talking about food and your wonderful wives..
My prayers go out to your family and that the Lord will hold them all close, heal their hearts, knowing your spirit lives on...

Mike you welcomed me into your family more than forty years ago.I will always remember your humor, like the time you poured a can of Beer over my head while we were out fishing.Or our famous fishing trip, that you talked about not to long ago.35 ,miles off Daytona that we became the Captians of the boat.I will miss you.

Mike, I feel very fortunate to have known you, although, it was a very short time. I appreciated you and your wife, Rita, taking me in when helping Celeste find her new home. Thank you for your kindness and your humor. You will be greatly missed by all.
