Andrea Elaine Arnold May

Our Mother, Andrea Elaine Arnold, was taken from this earth on July 31, 2024 at age 49. She was born on October 11, 1974 in Dallas, Texas, to Ed and Barbara Arnold. Talented in so many aspects of her life, after graduating Mesquite High School where she was a member of the cheerleading squad, she chased her dreams with fervor and lived a life that was all her own. Andrea was mother to Aaron, Austin, and Alexis. She always stated that they were her pride and joy.

Andrea is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Arnold Williams; her brother, Craig Arnold; her grandparents, Lester Erskine Williams and Nora Blanche Williams, Dee E. Arnold Sr. and Willie Mae Arnold; and her uncle, Tommy Bailey.

She is survived by her father, Ed Arnold; her sons, Aaron Whittaker and Jake Oliver; and her daughter, Lauren May; her niece, Lauren Arnold Chancellor; nephew, Peyton Arnold; grandsons, Jaxton and Jace; granddaughter, Hattie Jane; as well as many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

A free spirit, Andrea immediately lit up any room she entered, and made an impact on so many people even through her struggles. She was a joyful presence with her beautiful hair, creative fashion choices, and bubbly personality. She had a good heart, a contagious laugh, and a smile that could light up a room.

Although she faced her challenges in life, she handled them with a strong love for the Lord, and in the best way that she knew how.

Andrea's hobbies and interests helped define who she was. She loved animals, enjoyed singing, and family get-togethers at the lake. Her love for singing was something she shared with her children, leaving a lasting mark on us that will never fade and we take solace in the fact that she is finally at peace. We will cherish our good memories.
