Anita Appling

Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Ben "Daddy Ben" Altom and Hattie Mae (Lightfoot) Altom; husband Donal Ray Worley Sr., Harry Elbert Appling Jr. and J.R. Conner, her brothers Harrold Altom, Leo Altom and her Sister Patsy Winkle.

Left with cherished memories are son Rick Worley and wife Charyl, Ray Worley and Randy Appling and wife Mary; 9 grandchildren Bogan Worley, Garrick Worley, Whitney Garza, K.C. Morrow, Stevie Ray Worley, R.J. Appling, Shannon Storm, Heather Storm and Alecia Clary; 16 great grandchildren, Chance Morrow, Kayce Morrow, Luke Worley, Indigo Ehver-Ray Ramirez, Jordan Allison, Joseph Gain, Autumn Gain, Robert Eckert, Ariana Storm, Briana Storm, Brittany Cashion, Azelynn Kuykendall and Lexton Kuykendall, Roman, Patience and Gunner Clary; her sisters, Sadie Crumrine and Faye Lynn Brayson.

Anita graduated from Seagoville High School. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, family member and friend who mentored so many. She had worked as a clerk at Smith's Pharmacy. She was once a lunchroom lady and she also worked as a bookkeeper in a doctor's office. She was a member of the PTA and was once honored as "Woman of the Year". Anita also loved to dance but her true passion was spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

A visitation for Anita will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 6, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by the burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

For the safety of our guest and staff, Roselawn follows the recommended guidelines established by the CDC and other agencies. Guests may view the live streaming of the funeral service on Facebook Live. The streaming will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday June 6, 2020. Find the live streaming on the Roselawn Funeral Home, Facebook page. Also, the committal service will be broadcast inside the cemetery only allowing guest to listen on their car radio.
