Anthony Guy Patterson

Anthony was born in Terrell, Texas on October 21, 1952 to Kathryn and Carl Patterson. He graduated high school and honorably served in the United States Navy from 1973 to 1975.

He married his beloved wife Shirl in December of 1983 in Kaufman,Texas. They went on to have one daughter, Maranda, who they loved dearly.

Anthony was known as an excellent jack-of-all-trades who could fix or build anything; he worked in maintenance and plumbing for a number of years where his skills shined. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

His family and friends will remember him as a loyal friend and brother. If they needed help, he would always be there for them, no matter the circumstance. They also loved his wicked sense of humor and how he made everyone laugh.

Anthony is preceded in death by his wife, Shirl Patterson; his daughter, Maranda Patterson; his sister, Judy Conner; and his brother, Dennis Patterson.

He is survived by his siblings, Carl Patterson, John Patterson, and Angela Patterson, and Stepchildren, Kayleen, Brian, Kadence, Hannah, and many grandchildren.
