Beatriz Vargas

Beatriz Vargas, 81, passed away on November 22, 2015 in Dallas, TX. She was born on February 17, 1934 to Jose Augustine and Concepcion (Bravo) Davila in Mexico. Beatriz move to south Texas as a teenager and then moved to the Dallas area in 1975 and made a home for her family. She believed in Jesus Christ and faithfully read her Bible every night. She was an awesome cook and loved family gatherings, shopping and watching novellas. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband of 39 years Jose Z. Vargas, Sr., son, Jose Z. Vargas, Jr., grandson Carlos “Caco” Sanchez, sister Ignacia Davila and brothers Jesus Davila and Manual Davila. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Angie Sanchez and husband, Rodolpho Diaz and Alma Hernandez and husband, Martin; grandchildren: Yvette Morrow and husband, Chris, Melissa Sanchez, Anabel Hernandez and fiancé Miguel Reyes, Martin Hernandez, Jr. and wife, Melissa, Jorge Hernandez and wife, Nancy and Jessica Diaz; great-grandchildren Carlos Sanchez, Isaac Morrow, Sabastian Morrow, Malaya Reyes, Magdeline Reyes, Elijah Hernandez, Julian Dominguez and Catalina Hernandez; sibilings Leonila Davila, Gilberto Davila, Guadalupe Davila and Daniel Davila; and her faithful companion, a Pekinese mix named Peewee. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, TX. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 also at Roselawn, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville where she will be laid to rest by her husband in the Garden of Valley View.
