Billy Lloyd Lockridge

Billy was born July 16, 1941 in Tyler, Texas to Lloyd and Billie Lockridge.

Billy was a devout Christian and a devoted family man. For 65 years, he was the loving husband of Frances Carlene Lockridge, standing by her side with steadfast faith and unconditional love. He was a proud dad, grandfather, and mentor whose influence and encouragement will continue to guide generations.

Known for his soft heart, calm spirit, and selfless nature, Billy never hesitated to share his love for Jesus. He was a faithful servant who not only spoke about his faith but lived it daily-reminding others through both word and example to walk in truth. He loved greeting his grandchildren with a smile and always reminded them of how proud he was of the people they were becoming.

Billy found joy in life's simple blessings-caring for his yard, sitting on his porch in the sunshine, and spending summers surrounded by family. His legacy of faith, love, and integrity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him..

He is survived by his beloved wife, Frances Carlene Lockridge; his children, Bonnie Goodson and husband Kenny, Billy Lockridge, and Carolyn Jackson; his grandchildren, Kacie and husband Keith, Chelsey and husband Nathan, Seth and wife Elise, Richard and wife Tay, and Kaylea; and his great-grandchildren, Ally, Tre, Andric, Asher, Bentley, Macee-Jo, Azariah, Kenzli, and R.J. He is also survived by his brothers, Mike Lockridge and Don Delano, and his sister, Shirley Delano.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna; his parents, Willis Lockridge and Billie Hanna; his sisters, Brenda, Carol, Shirley, and Edna; and his brother, Larry.

A service celebrating Billy's life will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 10:00 am. at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, Texas.
