Bonita Ellis was born September 19, 1933, in Blunt County, Alabama, to Vandiver and Arie Elizabeth Ellis. She was preceded in death by her brother Nolan Ellis, two sisters Geniece Harvey and Naomi Mount. She is survived by three sons Michael Newbern, Mark Newbern and wife, Karen, and Matthew Newbern, two daughters, Michelle Justiss and husband, Ric and Melisa McDonald and husband, Larry. She is also survived by a sister Ruby Durham of Tenn, 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, numerous cherished nieces and nephews and caregiver Catherine McNamee.
