Mrs. Cathleen Jett Hazelip

Cathleen Hazelip was born in Kleburg, Texas on January 16, 1924 to James John Jett and Birdie Alice (Cory) Jett. She passed away at her home in Seagoville, Texas on July 11, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 54 years Anderson Hazelip, son-in-law Donald Hill and Son-in-law Kenneth Sigman. Left with fond memories to cherish are her Daughters Donna Hill, Joy Duncan & husband Robert, Barbara Sigman (Robert Schwartz & son Chad) and Vickie Blair; grandchildren Donald Ray Hill Jr., Kenneth Neal Sigman, Priscilla Duncan, Chris Sigman & wife Tanya, Jennifer Hill and Richie Blair & wife Tara: great grandchildren Donald Ray Hill III, Jessica Hill, Kristina Hopkins & husband Nathan, Donavan Hill and Chloe Blair; great- great grandchildren Andrew Hill, Hayden Hill, Morgan Hill, Devon Scott; brothers Thurman Jett and J.B. Jett; Special lifelong friends Rachael and Mary Alice, and numerous other family loved ones and beloved friends. Cathleen was the cafeteria manager for Seagoville Schools for over 33 years. She enjoyed cooking and baking sweets. She also enjoyed crocheting baby clothes and baby blankets. She had a beautiful yard and she loved to garden. Most of all she loved to be with her family. She was a very special lady who loved everyone. In turn she was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. Cathleen’s family would like to extend a very special thank-you to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Vitas Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion they and Cathleen received while she was in their care. . .
