She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved companion Fondon Blackman.
Left with cherished memories are her children Michael Lynn Marshall and wife Martha and Cathie Anne Carter and husband Vance; grandkids Jason Michael Marshall and wife Casie, Brandon Scott Carter and wife Megan; Cassie Anne Carter and fiancé Michael Brown, Ashley Nicole Riddle and husband James and Bradley Keith Marshall; sister Peggy Jeanne Morrow and husband Ron; several great grandchildren and numerous other family loved ones and beloved friends.
Cherie had many interests. She enjoyed fishing and picking pecans. She also enjoyed bird watching and raising doves. She liked to take road trips, stopping only to eat. In her later years, she enjoyed word search and other puzzles. Cherie loved her family very much. She enjoyed time with her family in her home as well as at gatherings. She also loved going to church so she could be with her beloved church family and sing hymns.
Cherie was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6-8pm. Tuesday May 22, 2018 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. A service to Celebrate Cherie’s life will be 2:00pm Wednesday May 23, 2018 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
