She was born in Mesquite, Texas on September 8, 1968 to parents Leon and Vittoria Tharp and Jimmie Burt. Cheryl married the love of her life, Carl Edward Dunn, on June 12, 1997 in Athens, Texas. The couple would go on to have two beloved sons, Joseph and Matthew Dunn.
Cheryl was a Certified Nurse’s Aide for many years. She loved caring for her home and family and adored tending to her plants. She also loved celebrating holidays and cooking delicious meals.
Cheryl leaves behind her husband, Carl Edward Dunn, her two sons, Joseph Dunn and Matthew Dunn, her grandson, Joseph Nash Dunn, her father, Leon Tharp and her step-mother, Vittoria Tharp.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her mother, Jimmie Burt, her daughter, Catlin Marie Dunn and her brother, David Tharp.
Cheryl will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who loved her dearly.
