Clara Rogers Hazelip

Clara Hazelip Born January 19, 1945 in Kaufman, Texas went home to meet the Lord on August 27, 2014 at her home in Combine, Texas surrounded by her loving family at the age of 69. Preceded in death by her Parents Bob and Locille Rogers and brother-in-law Donald Gafford. She is survived by her faithful and loving husband of 50 years Kenneth Hazelip, daughter Debra Struck and husband Johnny, son Gary Hazelip and wife Laura, son Larry Hazelip and wife Christy, 6 grandchildren Candace, Cymone, Carson, Hannah, Emily, and Sarah, sister Sue Gafford, and many other family members and friends. Clara taught school at Crandall Elementary for 28 years where she cared for each and every student she had the privilege of teaching. She was also very involved at Pointview Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, sang in the choir, worked in the kitchen and was head of hospitality. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday September 1, 2014 at Roselawn. Home going Services will be 10 AM Tuesday September 2, 2014 at Pointview Baptist Church in Combine with Bro. Mike Alcorn officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Valley View.
