In his early years, Coby traveled with his dad’s military career as a young child, later growing up and attending high school in Scurry, Texas.
Coby worked as a service tech in HVAC, particularly at their family business.
Coby married Beth Donelson, and together they welcomed two children. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Weaver Rocha (Andrew), and his son, Tyler Weaver (Lidia); his mother, Marilyn Smith Weaver; his sister, Kimberly Marsh; and his brother, Wesley Weaver, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Don Weaver.
In quieter moments, Coby found steady enjoyment in fishing, reading and studying scripture, watching movies, and gardening with his mother—simple routines that brought comfort and meaning and reflected the way he appreciated time spent learning, reflecting, and being close to family.
A Celebration of Life Funeral will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159, on May 20, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
