

He will always be remembered as a loving son, father, brother, friend and colleague to all that knew and loved him. He was born on December 16, 1992, in Mesquite, Texas to Jeffrey Devine and Laura White.
Colten attended Seagoville high school and graduated from Legacy high school. He loved serving his community as a car and roofing salesman. He was also the co-founder of a music label startup, True Livin, with his brother James.
Cody was a Godly man, he was loving, helpful, faithful, and easygoing. He was slow to anger, a patient father, a handful as a child, but a Christ-like man. He never met a stranger, once you met him he care for you like you were his own and he had a vast impact on many lives.
His family was his everything, he lived playing with his kids, helping other, rapping, and being there for family and friends.
Colten is survived by his parents, Jeffrey Devine and Laura Elrod; his children, Veranda Jo and Ezekiel James Devine; his fiancee', Veronica Posey; his grandparents Jim and Nora White; sisters, Courtney White, Oceanna Devine, and Grace Devine; brothers, Sterlyn White, DeMarcus Fields, Eli Rodriguez, and James Davis; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ocea and John Russel; uncle, Ralph Lynn Devine; aunt, Jennifer Gail Martin; and cousins, Willow and Bryson.
The visitation will be held from 4:30 – 8 o’clock p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Roselawn Funeral Home chapel
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through Mrs. Elrod, to the family trust benefitting his children.
