David Altom

He will always be remembered as a master of all trades to all that knew and loved him. He was born on November 14, 1957, in Dallas, Texas to Leo and Frances Altom.

David grew up in Seagoville, Texas and graduated from Seagoville High School in 1976. He married the love of his life, Judy Susanne Locker, on July 27th, 1984, and they were married for 39 years. Judy was the apple of his eye, and he loved her with every part of his soul.

David held many titles; son, brother, husband, father, friend, mechanic, fireman, custom home builder, realtor, but his favorite was Papa. He was a father figure to all, and a professional grandpa to all children. He loved cars, music, football, baseball, fishing, and good food. He will be forever known for his humor and his wit. David was one of a kind who could fix or build anything and was always one to lend a helping hand.

David is survived by his wife, Judy Altom; son, Ben Altom; daughter in law, Ashley Altom; grandchildren, Reagan and Raylan Altom; sister, Diane Nichols and husband James; brother, Darryl Altom and wife Judy; sister, Donna Puig and husband Bobby; and numerous family members that he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Frances Altom.

The visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18th at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, Texas. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens and a reception will be at Seagoville Church of Christ at 1:30 p.m.
