Delana Ann Blankenship

Delana Ann Blankenship ("MeMa" to grandchildren) and ("MeMe" to great grandchildren) was born July 22, 1947 in Dallas, TX and passed away July 31, 2020. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Donnie Gene Blankenship (known her as "Baby Doll"); son, Darrell Gene Blankenship, daughter, Tena Lee Spence; grandchildren: Brittany Don Blankenship and Darrell Gene Blankenship, III (Trey); brothers: Edward Lee Harrison (Eddie Boy), Howard Lee Harrison, Bobby Wayne Harrison and Donald Ray Stember.

Delana graduated from High School and retired from work for many years now. She always loved spending time with her family and her shining glory was her Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She loved reading and watching FOX News.

Delana is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Lee and Effie Pearl Harrison and grandparents, Robert and Effie Harrison.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Yvonne (Sissy) Kirkwood and husband, Bobby; grandchildren: Danny Gene Blankenship, Jessica Nickole Elliot and husband, Jeremy, Darrell Gene Blankenship, Jr. (DJ), Taylor Shane Nevil, Tessa Dawnielle Shutak and husband, Nick and Robby Kirkwood; Great-grandchildren: Kaydence Nicole Blankenship (KK), Kyleigh Nakoda Blankenship, Drake Gavin Blankenship, Jeremy Gwen Elliot, Jr. (JJ), Madison Leeann Elliott (Madi), Maci Renee Elliott, Cason Robert Lee Nevil, Lydia Don Shutak, Witten Everett Shutak and Dayton Gene Blankenship; one sister, Patricia Brown-Vradenburg and husband, Randy and by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and cousins.
