Dennis Fink

Dennis Theodore Fink passed away on December 24, 2020 at the age of 74, in Mesquite, TX. He had a very difficult year and battled through several health setbacks. He was recovering and doing great until about two weeks ago when he tested positive for COVID. He fought as long as he could, but his earthly body was just too tired.

Dennis was born on September 23, 1946 in Denver, Colorado, to Theodore and Olive Fink. He worked as a TV repair man early on and eventually became a System Administrator at AT&T and Abbot Labs, where he retired from.

Dennis enjoyed watching movies and Texas Ranger baseball. He coached his sons in little league and spent many Saturdays watching his grandsons play all the way from T-ball to High School. He loved animals and always had at least one snuggling in his chair with him.

Dennis was preceded in death by his wife Connie, whom he missed immensely. They married on May 20, 1967 in Long Beach, California, and spent 49 years together. They used to love having the whole family get together for Christmas Eve every year. So, it is fitting that he got to spend Christmas Eve in Heaven with her this year. Though we will miss him, it gives us comfort to know that they are together.

Dennis is survived by his sister, Gerrie Lamm; 2 sons and their spouses, Dennis and Leisa Fink, Steven and Melissa Fink; and 5 grandchildren, Kristina, Preston, Chandler, Sarah and Steven; and his best friend Peanut.

A graveside ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, TX.
