Diane Kelli Sanchez

Diane Kelli Sanchez was born on December 5, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, and left this earthly life to join our Heavenly Father on April 18, 2026. She is survived by her loving partner, Edward Andrew Reeves, of 22 years. She is also survived by her first husband, Joe Angel Sanchez, of 23 years.

Diane was predeceased in this earthly life and will join in heaven her mother and father, Richard F. Finehart and Mary Jane Finehart; her brother, Doyle Andrew Finehart (husband of Janey Finehart); and her sister, Kathleen Finehart Rose.

Her beautiful life will be forever cherished by her surviving family: sister Deborah Jordan Jones and husband Fred C. Jones, IV; Deborah's daughter, Allyson Leigh Woody, husband Jeffrey Dane Woody, and their son, Dane Allan Woody; sister Marijo Brookshire, husband Col. Robert R. Brookshire, and their children, Elizabeth Ann Brookshire; son David Brookshire and his wife, Heather Brookshire; as well as her late brother's wife, Janey Finehart, their beloved children, and numerous grandchildren.

Diane did not have her own children, but she was known for being a "second mother" to many in this blended family. Through her loving partner, Edward Reeves, she was gifted the role of mother, aunt, and grandmother to Sabrina Miranda and Joe Mean; Dow Guynes; Brandon and Steffany Guynes and their children, Eden and Eli; and Steven and Julie Reeves and their children, Deven, Peyton, Ember, Eva, and Otto. She was also blessed with an extended family through Joe Sanchez.

She will be greatly missed by those who were close to her, as she was the life of the party at holiday gatherings and took great joy in including both adults and children in her fun games and colorful ways. Our families will endeavor to continue making things fun and to come together in honor of our beloved Diane as often as possible.
