Mr. Donnie Roy Roberts

Donnie Roy Roberts was called home to the Lord on December 3, 2015. He was born in Paris, Texas on March 27, 1941. He is preceded in death by his parents Roy Turner Roberts and Thelma Easton Roberts. Left with cherished Memories is his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Jeanette (Gin); daughter Kimberly Roberts; son Vincent Roberts & wife Korran; grandchildren Sheena Hickey, Miranda Spencer and Makenzie Roberts; great grandson Dylon Harris; brother Gerald Roberts; niece Denisa Stewart & husband David and their children, Dalton, Kaleb, Lexi and Grayson; nephew Bradley Roberts and many other family loved ones and beloved friends. Donnie was a member of the race car community for over 50 years. He enjoyed building race cars. He was good with his hands and could fix or repair just about anything. He was very intelligent. Although he was a quiet man, Donnie always had story to tell. He enjoyed fishing, oil painting and playing poker. Donnie’s family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Tuesday December 8, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Wednesday December 9, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home Seagoville, Texas. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Seagoville, Texas where Donnie will laid to rest in Valley View Garden.
