Donnie Wayne Rogers

Donnie Rogers of Seagoville, TX passed away on June 25, 2026 in Dallas, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on March 22, 1938, in Dallas, TX to Charley and Oscar Mae Rogers.

Donnie met his wife, Sarah Mae Flatt, in June of 1957 and they married on November 29, 1957.

Donnie was known for his love for the Lord, his family and his church family at Victory Baptist Church, Seagoville. Victory Baptist Church held an unsurpassed place in his heart providing a place for him to focus on his passion for the people and his love for the Lord. He continued to speak about Jesus as he was finalizing his journey on earth.

Donnie is survived by Sarah, his beloved wife, three daughters, Brenda, Rhonda and Paula, and their sons-in-law, Glen and James. In addition, he has 6 grandchildren and their spouses, Jerad, Lauren(spouse), Corey, Casey (spouse), Ethan, Amanda (spouse), Kristen, Paul (spouse), Maegen, Michael (spouse), and Jeremy. They have ten great grandchildren, Sadie, Luke and Ellie Douglas, Judson, Kadie and Sawyer Pierce, Emmersyn and Ellisyn Gallagher, Cantyn and Kyhlar Silva.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Oscar Mae Rogers, brother Charles Rogers, sister Dixie Glenn, and Aaron Pierce grandson.

The visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 on July 2 at Victory Baptist Church Seagoville. The Funeral Service will be held immediately after starting at 11:00 at Victory Baptist Church, Seagoville.

Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville.
