Doris Oma Howard

Doris Oma Howard was welcomed to her heavenly home on November 8, 2022. She was one month shy of her 96th birthday. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Foster Prince and Maggie Jane Grimes Prince, her sister, Mae Pearl Hudman, and brothers, Darvin Prince, Charles Prince, and Marshall Prince.

Doria Oma Prince Howard was born December 22, 1926 in Malakoff, Texas and was one of six children. After graduating from Forest High School in Dallas, Doris attended training at the Western Union School in Missouri. She was employed by Western Union for over 35 years. Her greatest love was her family and helping anyone in need. She was a true giver and caretaker. Doris enjoyed going to senior centers and homes and delivering stuffed animals to the elderly, and passing out food to neighbors in need.

Doris is survived by her sister, Sue Day, her sons, Steven Wayne Howard, Terry Lee Howard, daughter, Susan Kaye York, her grandchildren - Steven Howard, Ashton Howard, Christian Howard, Lee Howard, Gentry York and Garrett York, and 8 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who loved her and those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A graveside service for Doris will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159.
