Nadine’s faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she influenced many by living out the teachings of Christ with humility and compassion. Her legacy endures in the hearts of her family and friends, who cherish her unwavering love and steadfast grace.
For over fifty years, Nadine faithfully served as the church secretary at Newman Park Church, embodying dedication and quiet leadership. Her devotion to her congregation reflected her steadfast faith, and her gentle presence became a cornerstone of the church community.
Nadine cherished the simple pleasures of life—she found joy in reading, tending her flower beds, and savoring Sunday dinners surrounded by loved ones. She relished peaceful moments on the front porch, taking in the beauty of the day and the laughter of her grandchildren, whom she adored and watched grow with pride. Shopping trips with her daughter were treasured adventures, moments of bonding and delight.
Her generosity was legendary. Though she never possessed much in material wealth, Nadine gave to others as if her heart overflowed with abundance. She delighted in the act of giving, sharing thoughtful gifts and kindness with those around her. Her spirit was a living testament to selflessness and love, and the memory of her open hands and open heart will forever remain in those fortunate enough to know her.
Nadine is survived by her second husband, Charles Gaby, son, Mickey Nipp and his wife Andrea, daughter, Teresa Lingerfelt and her husband Daniel, son by marriage, Lloyd Gaby and his wife Debbie, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, sister, Geraldine Nipp, sister, Sherry Cooper, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nadine was preceded in death by her father, Plummer Lee Hayes, mother, Myrtle Mae Hayes, first husband, William Alton Nipp Sr., son, William Alton Nipp Jr., brother, Leroy Donald Hayes, brother, Alwyn Leo Hayes, brother, Plummer Lee Hayes Jr.
A simple graveside service for family will be held at 10 o’clock in the morning of September 2nd at Roselawn Funeral Home.
