Dottie Kanady Stinson

Dottie Stinson, born May 21, 1944 in Cisco, Texas went home to be with The Lord on January 13, 2015. Dottie (Grandmommi) is preceded in death by her parents, Sol and Loretta Kanady. The most important thing in the world to Dottie was her family. She is survived by her wonderful and devoted husband of 49 years, Bob Stinson (Grandpoppy), her children, Tonya and husband Dave, Kim & husband Todd, Kevin, Karla & husband Rick. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Britni & husband Josh, John, Matt, Bradley & wife Shelbey, Victoria, Candace, Travis, Kylie, Jakin, Tonya, Christine and husband Hank, great grand children, Jaelyn, Paityn, Annesley, Adelyn, Ryder, Aleiya, and Zaley. Dottie also has 5 loving siblings, Warnie Kanady and wife Bonnie, Lina Bullock and Husband Earl, Judy Shackelford and Husband Phillip, Jimmy Kanady and sister-in-law JoAnn Ward and Husband Ed.

Dottie had so many friends and family that loved her. She was the cornerstone of our family, and the rock we all leaned on. She will be greatly missed. Her family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday January 16, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Services will begin at 10am Saturday January 17, 2015 at Pointview Baptist Church in Combine, Texas. Brother Tim Brewer will be officiating Dottie’s Service. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Combine, Texas.
