Earlene Alford Nabors age 69 passed away on Wednesday, September the 19th, 2018 at Crescent Medical Center in Lancaster, Texas. She was born January 9th, 1949 in Terrell, Texas to the late Alvin Earl Alford and the late Lillie Irene Alford. She was a "Girlfriend" and a Wife to Joe S Nabors since August the 31st, 1969. Earlene Alford Nabors lived her life to the fullest.
She was a Mother, a Wife, an Aunt BoBo, a Best Friend to her 4 Sisters, a Memaw and a GG Maw. She was kind, loving and enjoyed aggravating the occasional niece, nephew or grandchild. (Like teasing Misty by calling her Mikey or telling Chrissy she was her Favorite granddaughter (joke was she was her only granddaughter) or teasing Wade by saying "I don’t even like you." She was an original and there isn’t one life on this Earth that she hasn’t touched or light heartedly teased. She was comfortable at home with her husband in front of the TV or running the roads with her sisters. She had a personality that would light up a room. She brought so much Love and Laughter into her Families lives. She would call everyone of us and sing Happy Birthday and wrote a poem from her heart just for that special person. She had away of making each and everyone of us feel so comfortable and at home when we would visit. We know she is at home in Heaven sitting in a recliner that set up just special for her.
She is survived by her husband: Joe Nabors, her Children: Joseph R Nabors, Tina Nabors, Shelly Morse & “son- in- law” Kenneth Morse. Her Sisters: Kathy O’Neal, Shirley Vaughn, Brenda Redding, Donna Cole Her Grandchildren: Crystal Davis, Chad Nabors, Johnathon Cooper, Justin Nabors, Cody Lane, Christina Angell, Wade Morse. Her 7 Great Grandchildren and many many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She was Predeceased by: Alvin Earl Alford (Father), Lillie Irene Alford (Mother), Debbie Bowen (Baby Sister), Joseph S Nabors (Grandson).
Family, Friends and other lives touched by Earlene Alford Nabors are invited to pay their respects on September 24th, 2018 at the Roselawn Funeral Home located at 1000 Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas Visitation Time: Noon-2pm the Services will begin at 2 pm.
