Emma T Carrasco

Emma nació el 1 de noviembre de 1937 en Ojinaga, Chihuahua, México, hija de Sixto y Francisca Escontrias Tercero. Desde muy joven, asumió con gracia y dedicación el papel de ama de casa. Se casó con el amor de su vida, Gaspar Carrasco, y juntos construyeron una vida basada en el amor, la fe y la familia. Con Gaspar ya siendo ciudadano estadounidense, la pareja tomó la decisión de trasladar a su creciente familia a los Estados Unidos con la esperanza de un futuro mejor para sus hijos.

Emma siempre será recordada por su fe inquebrantable, la calidez de sus comidas caseras y su impecable sentido del orden. Su hogar era un lugar de paz: siempre impecable, siempre acogedor y siempre lleno de amor.

Le sobreviven sus amados hijos: Carmen Sandoval y su esposo Ben, Manuela Ponce y su esposo Manuel, Alonzo Carrasco y su esposa Maricela, Obed Carrasco, Eleticia Terrazas y su esposo Eloy, Arnulfo Carrasco y su esposa Julieta, y Auden Carrasco. También deja 20 nietos, 21 bisnietos y dos hermanos, Diego y Trinidad Tercero, quienes llevarán su memoria consigo.

Emma ahora se ha reunido en paz eterna con sus padres, Sixto y Francisca; su esposo, Gaspar Carrasco; su hija, Eloisa Carrasco; su hijo, Pedro Carrasco; sus hermanos Celia, Anita, María De La Luz, Seferino y Francisco Tercero; y dos de sus nietos, César Ponce y Ariel Carrasco.

Emma Tercero Carrasco, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer.

Emma was born on November 1, 1937, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Sixto and Francisca Escontrias Tercero. From a young age, she embraced the role of homemaker with grace and dedication. She married the love of her life, Gaspar Carrasco, and together they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family. With Gaspar already a U.S. citizen, the couple made the decision to move their growing family to the United States in hopes of a brighter future for their children.

Emma will always be remembered for her unwavering faith, the warmth of her home-cooked meals, and her impeccable sense of order. Her home was a place of peace—always spotless, always welcoming, and always filled with love.

She is survived by her beloved children: Carmen Sandoval and husband Ben, Manuela Ponce and husband Manuel, Alonzo Carrasco and wife Maricela, Obed Carrasco, Eleticia Terrazas and husband Eloy, Arnulfo Carrasco and wife Julieta, and Auden Carrasco. She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Diego and Trinidad Tercero, all of whom will carry her memory with them.

Emma is now reunited in eternal peace with her parents, Sixto and Francisca; her husband, Gaspar Carrasco; her daughter, Eloisa Carrasco; her son, Pedro Carrasco; her siblings Celia, Anita, Maria De La Luz, Seferino, and Francisco Tercero; and two of her grandchildren, Cesar Ponce and Ariel Carrasco.

Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family will continue to inspire all who knew her.
