Evelyn Hale

Evelyn Ruth Hale, of Dallas, Texas passed away on March 8, 2023 in Sunnyvale Texas. She will always be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great grandmother, loyal friend but most importantly a woman of strong faith and dedicated prayer warrior to all that knew and loved her.

She was born on February 20th, 1928 in Dallas, Texas to Julius Clarence Hodge and Bertha Ellen Veach.

Evelyn Ruth Hodge was married to Therman Eugene Hale on May 4, 1946. They had four children together, three sons Richard Eugene, Gary Wayne and Ricky Don and one daughter Debbie Ann. They spent forty-nine wonderful years together before God called him home.

Evelyn Ruth Hale is survived by her son Richard Eugene Hale of Crandall, Texas , son Ricky Don Hale of Garland, Texas and daughter Debbie Ann Whitlock of Edgewood, Texas, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Julius Hodge, mother Bertha Veach, husband Therman Eugene Hale and son Gary Wayne Hale, sisters Dolores Brooks and Glenna Kershman.

The visitation will be held Tuesday March 14th at 1:00 and services to follow at 2:00 at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel . Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens .
