

Freddie Joe Drinning, age 54, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, December 10, 2020. He was born April 20, 1966 at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, TX to parents Gerald Wayne Drinning and Patsy Ruth Abbott Drinning.
Freddie was raised in Seagoville where he attended Seagoville High School. He was a hard worker and held various jobs throughout his life, among them being employed at Roselawn Funeral Home, the law firm of Fowler, Wiles, and Keith, and founder of Reliable Property Preservation. He met, fell in love with, and married Desiray Wagner on September 8, 2001. They eventually moved to Scurry, TX, where they made a life for themselves and raised a blended family of five children together.
Freddie loved God, enjoyed fishing, collecting firearms, playing in pool and poker tournaments, and spending time with his family, friends, and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his father Gerald Drinning, his brother Jerry Drinning, mother-in-law Sherry Mosley, brother-in-law Bryan Lanier, and grandson Ledger Drinning.
Freddie was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and he is survived by his loving wife Desiray Drinning. He is also survived by his children, son Michael Drinning; daughter and son-in-law Sarah and Jesus Ramirez; daughter and son-in-law Shelby and Jay Sutton; daughter Madalyn Drinning; son Aiden Drinning; six grandchildren that he loved and adored; niece Jaylee Reed and nephew Hunter Lanier; mother Patsy Drinning; and sister and brother-in-law Tina and Anthony Pierce.
There is no way to describe the impact he had on everyone he crossed paths with in this life. He was loved by so many and will be missed dearly.
