George William Lange Jr.

George W. Lange Jr. passed away at his home in Balch Springs, Texas on January 28, 2015. He was born in Gause, Texas on May 22, 1938. He is preceded in death by his parents George William Lange Sr. and Julia Willard Lange. Left with fond memories to cherish are his loving wife of 57 ½ years, Betty Joyce; daughter Natalie Warren & husband Jerry; son John William Lange; daughter Suzanne Morris & husband Robbie; grandchildren Sera Morris & Eric Wright, Jonathan Abbott, Kayleigh Green & husband Josh and Jacob Warren, great grandchild Madison Paige Green and numerous other family loved ones and beloved friends including his best four legged friend Pippin. George faithfully served his country in the United States Army Reserve. He was a machinist and tool crib manager for over 50 years with Dahlgren Manufacturing. When George was younger he liked to go hunting. He was an avid reader all of his life and enjoyed reading about history and historic events. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm. Monday February 2, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. A service to celebrate George’s life will be 2:00pm.Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Roselawn Memorial Chapel. Interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens will follow the service where Mr. Lange will be laid to rest in the Garden of Prayer.
