

He proudly served his country in the United States Army as an SP5, and in Vietnam for three years.
Gerald married Judy Kaye Ussery in 1971 and the couple had three children. He was a Policy Service Representative at Southwestern Life where he worked for more than sixteen years.
In his spare time, Gerald enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to go on date nights with his wife, Judy, as well as going to the coffee shop in the mornings to hang out with some of his friends.
His family and friends will always remember him as a loving and giving person who was always willing to go out of his way to help others in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Chandler and Lola Rosemond King; stepfather, Jerry Rosemond; sister, Brenda Johnson; and his daughter, Stephanie Chandler.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Judy Chandler; daughter, Kimberly Hall; son, Jeffrey Chandler; brothers, Dennis Chandler, Joe Rosemond, and Larry Rosemond; sister, Shell Chandler Zaiontz; grandchildren, Shelly Saiz, Kelley Gailey, Jimmy Gailey, Brandon Gage, and Tiffani Hall; 5 great-grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews.
He will be very deeply missed by all who knew him.
