

Gladys Elizabeth Glossup ...passed from this life on Oct. 27, 2014 after living a full life.She was born on Aug. 11, 1924 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Ethelbert Carlton Rogers (London, England) and Velvin A.G. Lindly (Sulphur Springs, Texas).She married George Martin Glossup on June 1, 1940 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 1994.Also preceding Gladys in death were her parents, brother Telford, and sister Vera Dawn Lee. Gladys is survived by daughter Carol (Jeff), sons Frankie (Brenda), and Larry (Vera). Granddaughter Rhonda, Grandsons Jay (Hillary), Chris (Rachel), and West (Rebecca), eleven great-grandchildren, Lee, Josh, Ella, Morgen, Gracie, Cyrus, Caedmon, Cohen, Kezzia, Weston, and McKenna. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and outlaws Gladys (Granny) loved all sports (even if she had no clue what it was about), she was an accomplished seamstress (if you wanted it, she could make it) but above all she was a devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and cherished friend who will be missed by many. Precious memories? Oh yes, She has left us with many. As long as Gladys (Granny) is never forgotten, She will never die. Amen!
