Glenn went to work at the age of 14 to help support his parents, doing odd jobs and then started working with his future father-in-law, Robert Blakey Sr., in 1977. In 1982, he joined the Local Painters Union. Glenn married Sandra Blakey on October 22, 1979, which was the start of a wonderful life-long journey. In the early 1980’s, God blessed Glenn and Sandra with two children, Glenn Jr. and Cassie. In the late 1990’s God once again blessed them with two more children, Andrew and Lilly. Through life events and circumstances, our grandchildren Kenneth and Shane came to live in our home and become a very significant part of our lives and bless us beyond understanding. Our family continued to blossom when our son “Dollar” Glenn Jr. brought two more grandchildren, Rachel and Ryan, into our lives. As the years went by, our daughter Cassie blessed us with two more grandchildren, Kaden and Keaton. Just as our family grew and blossomed, so did Glenn’s career. In 1990, he started truck driving and hauling cars. He had a setback in 1992 when he injured his back and had to undergo multiple surgeries between 1992 and 1994. In 1996, Glenn’s health improved and God blessed him to be able to better care for his family once again. He started a new business and was able to bring Sandy into the business and teach her how to professionally transport cars. What started out with just a truck and a trailer soon became something truly orchestrated and blessed by God. By 1998, his business grew larger than life (even with three kids) and he had companies calling wanting he and Sandy to transport high-end exotic cars that ranged in price from $200,000 to $500,000 in special enclosed trailers. Glenn’s focus on God and family brought many wonderful opportunities into our lives that will forever be in our hearts. In 2006, at the height of Glenn’s family life and career, severe medical issues once again struck. He began suffering breathing issues, which brought him to a place where he had to rely on Sandy and their children to provide daily care to help feed him and take care of the simple tasks we often take for granted. Glenn underwent numerous spinal and neck surgeries over the next 11 years. By 2017 Glenn’s health had greatly deteriorated to the point he was losing his physical abilities and his memory was fading. On July 4, 2017, he underwent another spinal/neck surgery and God’s grace and healing touched Glenn and gave him the mobility to once again do the things he loved. He was even able to take Sandy and the kids for rides in his van. Glenn was full of life and living it to the fullest. His last seven months were filled with a happiness that radiated like sunshine. Every day was lived as to the glory of God. God blessed Glenn with abilities and talents that touched his family and everyone that came across his path. Glenn’s inner love was taking cars and trucks and truly putting a part of himself into every project. He could take something that was mere junk and turn it into a top-notch vehicle. He did not work for the praise of others but for the glory of God. Glenn’s family was the center of his life and he lovingly provided a home that was safe, comfortable and full of God’s love. He will always be remembered for his unconditional love and selfless acts of kindness.

Glenn you were an amazing man here on earth. We grew up together. We are cousins but we're more like brother and sister. You helped me out when no one else would. Thank you for your love and kindness. God gained another angel. I love you. And thank God for you.

Glenn was a very wonderful man to be around. I’ll never forget the first time I met him, because I have never felt so welcomed by one man. He truly had the kindest of hearts for him to have met me a few times and love me like I was his own son.

Dear Dad,
You have tought me many things. The most important is what you told me on my wedding day, Learn from my mistakes son, so you can do better and not endure the ones I made. Dad...I have done that. It has brought me far in life from the advice you told me that day. Like you shared your love of automobiles with me. I share the same love for baseball with my son. The favorite memory with you is when you took me to ride go carts at Shake Rattle n Roll in the
64 Ford, then we went and got a hamburger.

My heart is broken, I’ve truly lost my best friend. I’m gonna miss him calling me every morning on my way to work and praying together, church. He was my best friend and now he’s my guardian angel. I love you.

Glenn Sr. Had a great sense of humor and had a nickname for all he deemed close in his life. Made me laugh.

I only knew Glenn for 10 short years but in that short time I could clearly see he had a heart of gold and a love of God! Also a family that loved him dearly! I am very saddened that he had to leave us so soon! I asked that God family and friends please watch over the family and keep them in your prayers! And that God gives Sandra the strength to be strong in knowing that he is with our Lord now and he will always watch over her and they will be together again one day for eternity. And Cassandra it broke my heart to see the hurt you were going through when you were losing your daddy I asked that the Lord be with you and keep you strong and also know you will also be with him again for eternity! All my love 2 Glenn and the family!
