Mr. Grady R Tidwell

Grady Ronald Tidwell, 74, passed away at his home in Crandall on October 1, 2015. He was born on September 11, 1941 to Grady and Dovie (Moore) Tidwell of Kaufman County, Texas. Ron loved to fish and work on cars. He was a diesel mechanic by trade and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Affectionately known as “Papa” by his grandchildren, he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He and his wife of 45 years, Wilma, were always there for them, even if they thought they were going behind each other’s back to help them out. Ron and Wilma were best friends and inseparable, “two peas in a pod”, and are now together again for eternity. Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Wilma Tidwell and sister Barbara Douglas. Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Marsha Noe and husband, Michael; Cindy Walker and husband Brian Cawthon; Jeffrey Tidwell and wife, Crystal; grandchildren: Erin Walker, Leann Walker, Tyra Tidwell, Shawn Walker, Hailie Harrison, Caleb Noe, Alicesun Tidwell and Emily Noe; great-grandson Phoenix Rodriguez; siblings Margaret Forrester and husband, Charles and Nancy Tidwell; and a host of extended family and friends that will miss him dearly. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where he will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Garden of Valley View.
