Guy and i were friends in 7th and 8th grade, then i moved away but always will remember what a funny guy he was and brave he stood up to bullies.

It was a pleasure to formally meet Guy on December 1, 2017.  As a frequent customer, I knew of him, but never met him.   I was thrilled that he happily accepted the gift of this jacket.  He was full of smiles, a big hug and anticipation of sharing the news with his wife, texting her a picture of it immediately.   He spoke lovingly of her, appreciateing her protective nature in guarding his acquired Ghostbuster parafanalia.   

He proudly spoke of the Wounded Warrior event he participates in when I told him the jacket originated from my military son’s Loot Ware.  He then spoke of his son also having an interest in Loot Ware but was not currently active with it.  Guy knew Loot Ware was offering something with a Ghostbuster theme but did not know exactly what it was.   He was completely thrilled to see it found a way to him.   He was feeling quite special and I found Guy to be very personable and approachable.   

I have been missing Guy these past few months.  I have been wanting to catch up with him, hoping to hear a story of the unveiling of his newly found treasure to his Ghostbuster group.  He anticipated creating much envy from his peers and was looking forward to showing it off.  

As I heard the news of him today, I was immediately covered in goose bumps, disbelief,  and fell into prayer. A prayer of strength and peace for his family, in all of their days.   And know that these thoughts and prayers will continue for all of my days.

 On a grey cloudy day in 1963 my fourth baby boy was born to me.
 He brought so much light into all of our lives. 
 The things he did, the plans were all Guy's.
 I know that I spoiled him, we all did in our way, never dreaming our lives would be without him one day. 
 Guy did so much in his very short life.  He had a wonderful son, step son, grandson and a loving wife. 
 His talents were many I can name quite a few: he loved Halloween, spook houses and Scarborough Faire too.
He was a very gifted artist in every way. 
I wish it had been possible for God to let him stay.
 But on a sad, sad day in 2018 God took him away. 
 The thing he did last that he was so good at, for the last few years he changed to a Ghostbuster hat, 
Guy's car (Ecto 13A),  paraphernalia and his uniform. 
 All of these things to him were the norm. 
 He enjoyed it so much, the people he was with and the kids lives he touched. 
 Our hearts and soul are hurting so bad, but we are so thankful for the life he had. 
 His trip to California with the Ghostbuster club, the things built and done with Michelle, Phillip and Skye,  nothing ever was a flub. 
 I guess God needed his sweet soul up there, so all of us that love him on earth will just have to share. 
 I'll see you soon, baby.

Guy was such a special man. My son Alex just loved going to see Guy.  If we saw his car in the Albertson's parking lot, we just HAD to go say hello. No matter how busy he was, he always made the time to talk with Alex about Ghostbuster news. He would make Alex all kinds of cool gadgets.  Alex has told all his friends ( and sometimes even strangers) about his REAL Ghostbuster friend Guy. He
will be greatly missed by our family, but we are so grateful for our great memories with our super cool friend.


May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. (Psalms 116:15)

I have known Guy for many years. The artist in him always made me smile. He was a good man and will be missed by many.

Despite not knowing Guy very well, it was easy to see how great of a person he was. He had such a knack for making those around him laugh. His love for life was infectious. I wish that I could have gotten to know him more. My thoughts go out to his family; he was a very special human.

You have always been a great influence in so many lives. You always had a skillful craft in bringing joy to people and it was very much like another masterful media of art to you. You were always able to illuminate a conversation or story by carefully describing particular aspects that were joyful and hilarious to you. I've always appreciated that. You were always able to find humor in things and you obviously cared very deeply for the people in your life. I am so grateful for you and thank you for sharing your life with us all. You have truly been a blessing from the stars and I will without doubt see you when my God calls me home. I love you uncle.

My heart goes out to the Andrew family for their loss, continued thoughts and prayers for all during this difficult time.

I was a scant eight years of age when my aunt, Michelle, married Guy. I don't recall there ever being any awkward moments adjusting to the new face, because "Uncie Guy" was just too personable, too fun, and could use his creativity to forge or enhance any situation. How many people have you known to create Medieval-themed birthday parties featuring weapons, armor, and decor crafted by their own hand? In my youth I nearly spent more weekends at the home of Guy and Michelle than I did at my own. I spent so much time bonding with Guy that my keeping Guy in the event of a divorce became the family joke. Guy was the hardest worker I have ever known, and he always ensured that he provided for his family. However, I believe that part of what made Guy so unique and so personable was that he never let go of his inner child. So few of us remember what it means to be the way we were as kids, and I think our refusal to forget played a part in how well we got along. I will miss him dearly, but I shall forever honor the good memories and celebrate the life he lived. Our adventures together were multitudinous, and shall ever be remembered as the best.

Guy was such a nice person and I always admired the bond he had with his family. I will miss seeing him drive up in the Ghostbuster vehichle daily across the street at his parents house.  Sending our prayers to the entire family during this difficult time.

I love you Uncle Guy!!!  I miss you so much already and there aren't enough words to describe the impact you have had on me and my life and how much you will be missed.  You are such a big part of my love of art, Halloween, movies, and all the wonderful weird and creative things in life.  You were as much a brother to me as you were an uncle and you were always there for us all no matter what.

I am struggling to find the words to say what I would like to.   Let me just say he was such a special "Guy" and always there to help anyone in need even it was a customer or me having car trouble.  Thanks for leaving us with all the fond and crazy memories of your cars and haunted house stories and many off the wall conversations.  You will be missed by all!   In loving memory.

Guy...where do I begin? You are like a gentle giant in our family. That's the way I always saw you and always will. You made us all laugh and you were always kind even when you were grumpy! You were generous, giving, loyal, quirky, brilliant, artistic, creative, genuine, and so very cool. I couldn't have asked for a better brother-in-law. Thank you for being you and for being such a wonderful husband to my sister and wonderful father to your sons and wonderful Grim to your grandson...and you are adored by your nephews as well. You are loved and will always be dearly missed. Godspeed, my dear Brother. I will see you on the other side. ❤
