Harold A. McCullough, Jr., 71, passed away on November 6, 2015. He was born to Harold A. “Doc” and Virginia (Wells) McCullough, Sr. on October 29, 1944 in Dallas, TX. Harold proudly served his country for the US Navy aboard the USS George K. MacKenzie destroyer which operated alternately in Japanese waters and off Vietnam fighting to repel Communist aggression. Upon discharge, Harold began a life-long career as a truck driver and at one time owned and operated a company that moved mobile homes. He also did long hauls all over the United States. Harold was fortunate in that he and a small group of friends were able to form friendships that lasted from his childhood up until the very end of his year-long battle with cancer. Preceding him in death are his parents and brother, Charles H. McCullough. Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Tracy McCullough and wife, Lisa of Mabank, TX, Timothy McCullough of Dallas, TX and Tara Humber; sister Cynthia Fisher and husband, Jim of Seagoville, TX; uncle Jerry Wells of Pearland, TX; five grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends that will miss him dearly.
