- It seems I have known you my entire life - well at least since about 1953 when we became neighbors. Most of those years you were like a younger brother to me and harassed me unmercifully! Like most dear friends, our lives got busy (and we had to be big people) but we still managed to stay in touch.
- Now you move into another phase of your journey. As you do so, please say "hello" to all our friends and relatives - especially Jerry and Rickey?
- It is time for you to spread those beautiful wings (trying to be good) and soar as you guide those of us still here on Earth! Big hugs from JuJu

Harvey & I are the same age. We both grew in Paris & graduated from PHS. Harvey had wit much bigger than he was. He could keep you laughing all day. He being Harvey was one of my fondest memories of my 4 years at PHS. Through the years we lost touch, but at class reunions we picked up like we hadn’t missed a day. I’m going to miss Harvey but I know I’ll see him again at the Class of ‘66 reunion in heaven. Rest In Peace my friend. You were truly one of the good guys.

Harvey and I attended Fourth Ward elementary school in Paris . We used to play together and had sleepovers… Always fun to be around… After high school I didn’t hear from Harvey for years and had no idea where he was…It wasn’t until our 50th high school reunion that I saw Harvey again… It seem like we just picked up where we left off ..He still had an infectious smile, Jovial and humble… May his name be a blessing to all who knew him and let us all say amen
