Helen "Lucy" Lucille Lovejoy

Helen was born February 9, 1938 in Belington, West Virginia to Harry and Rosa Streets. She passed away February 17, 2021 at her home in Quinlan, TX.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, James Lovejoy, her parents, 2 sisters: Marlene Bender and Shirley Emigh and a granddaughter, Brandy Milam.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Gary Lovejoy, Diane Oglesby & Wayne and Angela Corgill & Dusty; 11 Grandchildren: Gary Lovejoy, Jr, Gary Allen Lovejoy, Stormie Lovejoy, Misty Milam, Eric Milam, Brooke Southall, Brandon Leflore, Briana Leflore and Brynne Leflore and step-granddaughter, Shelby Corgill; 10 Great-grandchildren and by one sister, Sue Harris.

Helen graduated from High School and later worked at AT&T in administration. She loved spending time going to the Casino with her husband James. She was a loving, sweet and caring mother and grandmother. Helen "Lucy" will be missed for her sense of humor. She was known for being a kind person and being patient. She will be dearly missed and loved by all that knew her.

Ever since my daughter was born every other Sunday was maw maw Sunday my daughter would say. She loved to go down to maw maws and visit with her and she loved every minute she got to spend with her maw maw. They would play ball or she would dance for maw maw. Those r memories i will cherish forever. And I know my daughter will to.
