Helen P. Wardlaw was born June 4, 1923 and went home to the Lord on September 14, 2014. She graduated from North Texas University in 1941. Helen was employed by the 8th Service Command during WWII. She later worked for Moore Business Forms and in 1948 joined Alexander & Alexander retiring in 1988 as Sr. Vice President and Director of the Board of the Texas Companies. Helen was a member of the United Methodist Church in Crandall until 1988 and a Member of Highland Park United Methodist Church thereafter. She is survived by her daughter Dr. Mary Bowsher & husband Todd; son Bob Pace Wardlaw & wife Michelle; grandchildren Justin and Yvette Wardlaw, Aaron Wardlaw & wife Emily, Lynsey Enspensen & husband Martin; great grandsons David Ted Wardlaw, Asher Pace Wardlaw and Eathan Pace Espensen; great granddaughter Layla Rose Wardlaw. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Wednesday September 17, 2014 at Roselawn Funeral Home Seagoville, Texas. A Celebration of Helens Life will be 2:30pm. Thursday September 18, 2014 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Interment will follow at Crandall Cemetery, Crandall Texas.
