I have so many high school memories of Jet. I hate that I didnt get to know and be around him again later in our life. He sounds like an amazing person. My prayers are with family and friends.

I have so much respect for Jet because of the dedication and tender love he showed his mom and dad. It takes a special and strong person to do what he did. Over the years, every time I saw him, he'd have his camera strapped around his neck. I asked him once ( jokingly ), " Take my picture"! He responded, in what I liked to call his "Jet" voice..... " I don't take pictures of men". LOL! Then one day when I saw him, he did not have his camera with him and I asked where it was? He said he really doesn't have time for pictures because of the attention he had to pay to his mom and dad. I understood that, from my own experience with my mom. He asked me once, "Do you cook for your mom?" I said I heat up the food! LOL! Is that the same? He replied, " There are so many chemicals and bad things in prepared foods, you should cook for her". That statement is so true and I should have. He wanted the best for his parents. Proverbs 27:19 says, As in water, face reflects face, So a man's heart reveals the man. Jet had a wonderful heart and will be greatly missed. May The Lord bless and lift up Mike and all the Thorpe family through this trying time and always.
