Jeanette worked most of her life as a seamstress and made jeans for Wrangler. Her passion for her work shined brightly, shown by her son saying he was the always best dressed in school because she would bring him the very best from her workplace.
Jeanette had a green thumb and could often be found tending to her lush garden. Not only did she love her plants, she adored animals. She raised and sold Doberman puppies as well as horses, goats, sheep, and pigs. She also owned poodles that she treasured.
Jeanette was a woman of deep faith and devotion, extending her love for the Lord on into her legacy.
She is survived by her son, William “Corky” Slimboski and his wife Sandy; her grandson, Brady Slimboski; her great-grandson, Colton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Dora Roberts; her husbands, Tom Evans and Bill Slimboski; and her siblings, Vieta Clark, LeRoy Roberts, Ed Roberts Jr., Thurman Roberts, and Albert Roberts.
