Jo Ann Taylor

Jo Ann Taylor (79) of Balch Springs, Texas went home to the Lord on December 8, 2016. She was born in Houston, Texas on November 29, 1937 to Garnett and Sadie Frazier. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband John Taylor Jr., her son John Taylor III and her sister Barbara. Left with cherished memories are her son Robert Taylor, ; Daughter Melinda Harrison & husband Timothy; son Edward Taylor; grandchildren Jasmin Taylor, Robert Taylor Jr., T.C. Harrison, Johnny Harrison, Andy Harrison, Nick Harrison, Devin Taylor & wife Alex; Ethan Taylor, Darrion Taylor and Sydnee Taylor; great grandchildren Ashlyn Taylor, Anson Taylor, Ethan Taylor Jr.; siblings Thelma, Rosemarie, Sadie and Johnny; and numerous other family loved ones and beloved friends. Jo Ann lived for the Lord and her family. She enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and was always there for her children and grandchildren. Jo Ann would take them from event to event in “Mom’s Taxi”, providing them with everything they needed and she even coached their little league baseball team. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Monday December 12, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Tuesday December 13 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, Texas where Jo Ann will be laid to rest with her loving husband John Jr. in the Court of Valley View. Pastor Mike Wells will officiate.
