Joe Fanning

Joseph “Joe” Edward Fanning, 57, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2016. He was born on December 30, 1958 to Jerry D. and Patsty (Hulan) Fanning in Dallas, TX. Joe never met a stranger; everyone that crossed his path became a lifelong friend. He loved to fish, hunt and golf. Joe also enjoyed cooking and having pool parties for all of his family and friends. He was “bigger than life” and will be dearly missed by those that loved him. One of his greatest pleasures was his family and they will forever hold him in their hearts. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years, Janet Fanning, daughter Andrea Fanning and fiancè Christian Muniz, son Drake Fanning, mother Pat Fanning, father J.D. Fanning and wife, Charlene, sister Tammi Fanning, sister Jerri Hurschman, mother and father in-laws Bill and Claudia Davis, sister-in-law Kristi Bonham, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family loved ones, as well as a large group of close, beloved friends. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Central Baptist Church in Crandall, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville.
