
Joe Zoppe was born June 26, 1930 in Czechoslovakia. He came to the United States in 1939. He became a naturalized citizen in 1948. He was very proud of this accomplishment. Joe passed away June 13, 2014 in Seagoville, Texas at the age of 83. Preceded in death by his wife Peggy Zoppe, brother Rico Zoppe, 2 sisters Germana Kelly and Gilda Zoppe and best friends Max and Gertie Craig. Survived by son Roger Zoppe and wife Pam, son Dennis Zoppe and wife Rene, daughter Denise Olmeda and husband Antonio, 5 grandchildren Antonio, Luis, Dallas, Justin and Desiree, 2 great granddaughters Victoria and Katarina, sister Yolanda Zoppe and special friends Rod and Mary Haggard. Joe and Peggy were the former owners of Zoppe’s Mobile Home Park on HWY 175 in Seagoville for many years. They and the entire family were circus and rodeo performers until retiring in 1978 here in Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be Wednesday June 18, 2014 2:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville where he will be laid to rest beside his wife Peggy in the Garden of Scriptures.
