Juan Carreon Rodriguez

We announce the passing of Juan Carreon Rodríguez, on July 3, 2026, who transitioned from this life surrounded by his loved ones in the comfort of his home in Dallas, Texas at the age of 88. Juan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and an amazing friend to everyone who knew him. He will always be remembered for his unconditional love, his dedication to God, and his abundant friendliness.

He was born on August 22, 1937, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Juan Carreon Ramirez y Sebastiana Rodríguez Medina and was fortunate to have his grandparents Modesto Carreon and Apolonia Ramírez help care for him during his teenage years. Circumstances were difficult at times in Mexico which caused him to start working very early in his life and develop a discipline of hard work. This attitude and resilience impulsed him to seek new opportunities, some which led him to leave Mexico and migrate to the United States.

Juan married Christine Salinas in Dallas, and with his wife raised their family with Christian values, impeccable work ethic and charitable hearts. These principles are the foundation of his legacy, and his example will be carried forward by those who knew him. In addition, Juan had a great sense of humor, everyone enjoyed a heartfelt laugh with him. He was social and engaging, always lightening the atmosphere. His smiley eyes and playful smile were irresistible and will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Juan was preceded in death by his wife Christine Rodríguez, daughter Verónica Aguilar Gonzalez, siblings Inés, Cecilio, Socorro and Carmela. He is survived by his children, Gloria and Patricia Rodriguez, grandchildren Katherine Aguilar Oaxaca, Alessandra Aguilar, Josefina Aguilar Tundidor, and Joshua Aguilar along with eight great-grandchildren, brothers Adalberto Carreón, Rufino Carreón, Alfonso Garcia and many family members and friends both in the United States and Mexico.

Visitation will be July 13, 2026, between the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Hwy 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A Celebration of Life will take place at Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida, 3917 Hickory Tree Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180, on July 14, 2026, at 10:00 am. A Committal Service will follow at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Hwy 175, Seagoville, TX 75159, at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We invite everyone to come celebrate Juan’s homecoming and hope you can also join us for a family and friends gathering back at the church Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida thereafter.

Con profundo dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Juan Carreón Rodríguez, ocurrido el 3 de julio de 2026, a la edad de 88 años, en Dallas, Texas. Juan fue un hombre de familia y comunidad, esposo, padre, abuelo y bisabuelo ejemplar, y un amigo maravilloso para todos los que lo conocieron. Será recordado por su amor incondicional, su dedicación a Dios y su abundante amabilidad.

Nació el 22 de agosto de 1937 en Tampico, Tamaulipas, México, hijo de Juan Carreón Ramírez y Sebastiana Rodrguez Medina; tuvo la fortuna de contar con el cuidado de sus abuelos, Modesto Carreón y Apolonia Ramírez, durante su adolescencia. Haber crecido en circunstancias difíciles en México lo obligó a comenzar a trabajar a una edad muy temprana y seguir siempre luchando para superarse. Esta actitud y resiliencia lo impulsó a buscar nuevas oportunidades y inmigrar a los Estados Unidos donde formó su hogar con su esposa Cristina. Por la gracia de Dios, ellos criaron a su familia bajo valores cristianos, una ética de trabajo impecable y un espíritu bondadoso. Estos principios constituyen el fundamento de su legado, y su ejemplo perdurará en quienes lo conocieron. Juan poseía un gran sentido del humor; todos disfrutaban de una risa sincera a su lado. Era una persona sociable y agradable que siempre lograba alegrar el ambiente. Su mirada alegre y su sonrisa juguetona eran irresistibles y jamás serán olvidadas. Lo extrañaremos profundamente y lo recordaremos por siempre.

A Juan le precedieron en la muerte su esposa, Christine Rodríguez, y su hija, Verónica Aguilar Gonzalez. Le sobreviven sus hijas, Gloria y Patricia Rodríguez; sus nietas, Katherine Aguilar Oaxaca, Alessandra Aguilar y Josefina Aguilar Tundidor; su nieto, Joshua Aguilar; hermanos Adalberto Carreón, Rufino Carreón, y Alfonso Garcia, así como ocho bisnietos y numerosos familiares y amigos.

El velorio tendrá lugar el 13 de julio de 2026, entre las 6:00 y las 8:00 de la tarde en Roselawn Funeral Home 1000 S Hwy 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. Se llevará a cabo su celebración de vida en la Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida, ubicada en 3917 Hickory Tree Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180, el 14 de julio de 2026 a las 10:00 a.m. A continuación, se llevará a cabo el servicio de sepelio en Roselawn Funeral Home (1000 S Hwy 175, Seagoville, TX 75159), de 11:30 a.m. a 12:30 p.m. Invitamos a todos a celebrar el regreso de Juan a su hogar eterno y esperamos que también puedan acompañarnos en una reunión de familiares y amigos en la Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida, tras finalizar el servicio.
