My deepest condolences for Marshall and the Hocker family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
My Dad has been a client of Marshall's for years and on occasion would get a hair cut by Justin. Then, after I had my son, I would take him in for cuts with Marshall and with Justin too. Justin made every visit such a treat for my son, even if Marshall was doing the cutting. Finding out about his sudden passing, we are deeply sadden and know a huge piece of the barber shop family is missing. We will certainly miss that warm welcoming vibe Justin always put out and who could forget the funny stories and memories he always shared. My son is still trying to top your epic childhood mischief. Until we meet again..

Justin wasn’t my friend or family...he was just my barber. Our relationship was professional but as the great barber that he was, he treated me like a friend and made me feel like family. He was my barber since the early 90s. I remember walking or riding my bicycle to the Lake June Barber Shop for the first time as a teenager and how intimidating it felt walking into what I call a real barber shop not knowing what to expect but immediately felt welcomed by the father & son duo. As luck turned out, my first haircut was by Justin and 29 years later I was still a weekly customer. As most customers know, Justin could be a pain to deal with at times but we always came back for more. For me, the family atmosphere is what kept me a loyal customer. The generational clientele was awesome to see. The shop won’t be the same without you and you will be missed but I guess even the angels need sharp haircuts!

My sincerest condolences to the Hocker family. Justin was a nice guy. Justin & I went to elementary school together. Then to find out he was working with his Dad at the shop. He would cut/trim my son and nephew's hair. I was
sadden to hear this news. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. God bless him.
