Karman Shelby Asberry

She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born on August 18, 1981, in Jackson, MS to Helen & Earnest Shelby.

Karman dedicated her life to Christ at very early age. At the age of 9 years old her family moved from Mississippi to Rockwall. She was a proud graduate of Rockwall High class of 2000. She married Eric Asberry on June 30, 2005, in Dallas, TX. During there union 5 beautiful children were born (Donovan, Damien, Ericka, Amaya and David). Karman possessed many talents, but the one that shined the brightest was her love for children and family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother, Hellen (Crain) Shelby.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Eric Asberry; sons, Donovan Tremaine Asberry, Damien O’keith Asberry & David Charles Asberry; daughters, Ericka Renee Asberry & Amaya Diane Asberry; sister Melissa Crain-Taylor; In-laws Melba Asberry, Clint & Augustina Foster, Kietta, Jatara & Greg Asberry; nieces Chazidi, Teanna, Breanna & Jazzmin Taylor; nephew Chaz Taylor and a host aunts, uncles, family and friends.

The visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 pm on Saturday May 7, 2022, at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m..
