

He will always be remembered as a loving father, husband, and PaPa to all he knew and loved.
Kenneth was born on September 6, 1940 in Fruitvale, Texas to Joe L. Blagburn and Margaret (Rohus) Blagburn.
He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1963 and serve seven tours of duty, including Okinawa and Guantanamo Bay during the Vietnam Era. He was known to his fellow brothers in the military as "Blackie" or "Smiley". He was a Lance Corporal when he retired and received the National Service Medal, Sharpshooter, and Good Conduct Medals.
His favorite things to do were to play his guitar from a young age and to race cars. He won several trophies for his racing ability. He often sang and played in Church.
Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on May 27th, 2022 from 12pm - 2pm. The funeral will directly follow at Graveside at 2:00pm.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Joe Blagburn; his mother, Margaret Blagburn; sisters, Etta Ruth Dunlap and Beulah Dunlap; brothers, RV Blagburn, Ray Blagburn, Jake Blagburn, and Lazelle Blagburn.
He is survived by his wife, Opal Marie Blagburn; sons, Ken Blagburn and Eugene Williams; daughter, Lorane Killingsworth; brothers, Eugene Blagburn and David Blagburn; grandchildren, Ricky Blagburn, Ashley Scheele, Marissa Blagburn, and Brianna Garwitz; and great-grandchildren, Kennidi Blagburn, Aurilynn Blagburn, and Lyla Garwitz.
Flowers may be delivered to Roselawn Funeral Home.
