Kody was born January 4, 1979 in Dallas, Texas to Beverly McAdams Hastings and Delbert Hastings. His twin brother Jody followed him into the world about 20 minutes later.
The family spent a few years in the DFW area before the boys and their mother moved to California where Kody would thrive. He developed a love for Pokémon that would stay with him into adulthood. After 9 years on the West Coast, the family moved back to Mesquite, Texas. Kody Attended North Mesquite High School.
It took a bit for Kody to find his passion in life, but when he began a career driving trucks for Carry and Hennig, he fell in love with the open road and all the places it took him. It also afforded him the ability to purchase his other great love, his black GMC truck that he lifted and tricked out exactly how he wanted.
Greeting him on the other side was his father, Delbert Hastings; his grandparents, Henry and Marjorie McAdams, Billy and Mary Hastings; his aunt, Patty Johnson, and his uncle, Ronnie McAdams.
Left to cherish in Kody's memory are his mother Beverly McAdams Hastings and husband Lonnie Bernard; his Twin brother, Jody Armond Hastings and wife Roxanne; aunt, Carolyn Thorn, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
